Tri-City School's donation to St. John's for Brenna

Evan and I were so excited to get to be at his old school, Tri-City, in Buffalo today for a special presentation. Tri-City's student council organized a "hat day" a few weeks ago to raise money for St. John's Children's Hospital donated in honor of Brenna! They presented the money to the Friends of St. John's today at the end of the school day, and our family and Evan's mom were all able to be there for it.

This wasn't the first event that Tri-City has had for Brenna... a few months ago, the school hosted a hat day for the benefit of our family. Some of the Tri-City students who are members of the church that Evan's parents attend went one step further and decorated hats for Team Brenna to wear on that day :)

We are so incredibly grateful for the support of all of the students, staff and families of the Buffalo Tri-City community to both our daughter and to the organization that took such wonderful care of her during those first critical weeks of her life.
