We have been looking forward to and planning for this huge milestone for a long time - and lots of companies and businesses were so excited for Brenna's birthday too, so they very generously agreed to participate in a blog giveaway for our awesome readers this week!
We have either bought or been given all of these items for our own family to use, and we are HUGE fans...so we hope you check them all out because these would make amazing gifts for the moms and babies in your life too :)
1. Aquaphor gift set - includes 14 oz. jar, lip repair/protectant, 1.75 oz. tube and baby shampoo/body wash. Obviously it's no secret that we are Aquaphor fans - their products literally save Brenna's life every day! We have tried other brands of emollients for her skin, but Aquaphor is THE BEST. We also use the baby wash for her baths. I've talked to so many other moms who use Aquaphor for diaper rash and other dry areas on their babies, and everyone agrees it is practically magic :)
2. Aquaphor gift set - includes 3 oz. tube, lip repair, and $50 Visa gift card. (I decided to break the Aquaphor products into two sets so that more of you could experience the wonders of Aquaphor :) )
3. Moms on Call gift sets - three winners!. A lot of moms have asked me how Brenna has gotten on such a great daily routine and will go right down for her naps and bedtime with no fussing. It is all Moms on Call!! A friend recommended it to me, so I checked it out and took notes during the online seminar, and it has worked wonders for our sleep routine. You can choose a program based on your child's age, and it is focused on routines so that your child knows what to expect. It is so helpful to know what kind of schedule your child should be on and how to develop good sleep habits! The Basic Baby Care 0-6 months book and an online seminar are included in the gift set for three different winners.
4. Baby Einstein discovery kits - World of Rhythm and Baby Lullaby.
Baby Einstein videos have been a God-send for Brenna! They are one of the very few things that keep her occupied while she's getting fed through her pump, and aside from being held and rocked, they were the ONLY thing that would keep her from screaming when she was really sick this past summer. We have lots of Baby Einstein products and love them all!
Sitting up to watch her videos
5. $25 gift certificate to Breely's Garden. A few months ago, a blog reader sent us these beautiful bows from her Etsy shop, Breely's Garden, named after her own daughter. These bows are absolutely GORGEOUS! Brenna wore one in her 10-month photo shoot and has worn several more for Christmas events. Just browsing through her Etsy shop, you can see how exquisite these little bows and headbands are...and what also struck me when I first checked it out is that in some of the photos, there are beautiful little girls with special needs who are modeling the headbands - of course this made my heart so happy to see! :)
7. A copy of "Professionalizing Motherhood" by Jill Savage, along with a "Things That Go" scratch and sketch book for kids and CDs from the Hearts at Home national conference. One of the staff from Hearts at Home sent me some books by Hearts at Home founder Jill Savage after I expressed frustration in my role as a stay-at-home mom. It was such a thoughtful surprise! Within the first chapter of this book, "Professionalizing Motherhood", my mind was completely changed! I have felt a huge difference in my mindset each day and have felt so much more fulfilled being at home after reading this book. It's definitely a must-read for any stay-at-home mom! And now I can't wait to attend the 2013 Hearts at Home national conference in Bloomington :)
8. A toddler-sized boutique hat from Kremer's Hats of Love.
When Brenna first came home, a blog reader contacted me about sending her some hats that her mother makes...and when we received them, I could not get over how unique and cute they are. Brenna looks adorable in them too - of course! The girl can rock a hat like no other :) The hat that Kremer's Hats of Love donated for the giveaway is sized for an 18-month to 2-year-old and would be so perfect for a cool fall day or for a photo shoot!
9. A copy of "On the Night You Were Born" by Nancy Tillman. This is a gift from our family to yours. We received this book when Brenna was born, and read it to her many times - with tears rolling down our faces! - while in the hospital and after we brought her home. It is such a special and beautiful book, and we even based my best friend Kristin's baby shower theme around it.
10. A boxy backpack from Petunia Pickle Bottom. These diaper bags are AWESOME! I received mine from my friend Lauren, and it's so high quality and adorable. I love that it has little pockets all over the inside, so I can organize all the stuff I have to lug around with two little ones!
Petunia Pickle Bottom has generously donated the backpack-style bag, called a boxy backpack, in the same Santiago Sunset print as the "touring tote" that I have. This is definitely a wish list item for a new or expecting mom! While their diaper bags are one of the most popular items, Petunia Pickle Bottom has all kinds of amazing baby products - you'll definitely want to spend some time browsing their site!
***Here's how to win one of these AMAZING items:
1. Leave me a comment and tell me briefly how you've been blessed by Brenna! If you're new to the blog, just tell me you're a new reader and can't wait to start following our story now too ;) Leave your email in the comment in this format: blessedbybrenna (at) gmail (dot) com so I can contact you when you win!
2. For a second "entry" to the giveaway, link up to this post! Blog about it, tweet about it, or share it on Facebook...and then leave me a comment telling me you did so. I trust you! :)
That's it - easy right?! The giveaway will be open through Thursday at 5 p.m. CST, and we will use a random integer selector to pick the winners. We will choose one winner for each item. We can't wait to read all of your comments and to give away these awesome goodies to our wonderful readers in honor of Brenna's first birthday - a big THANK YOU to all of these wonderful companies/businesses for participating! What a cause for celebration here on the blog!!
Don't forget to "like" Brenna's Facebook page and add Blessed by Brenna to your blog reader!
**The giveaway has ended and winners have been contacted. Thank you all so much for entering!!**

I'm new to the blog. Thanks for the giiveaway
ReplyDeleteI have read "Blessed By Brenna" from the very beginning, when Brenna was still in the NICU. I started reading it because I, too, have a beautiful daughter named Brenna who was born a preemie and spent 9 weeks in the NICU. I kept reading it, however, because I fell in love with this special, beautiful little girl who has blessed the lives of so many people. Happy Birthday Beautiful Brenna!
ReplyDeleteI cant wait to watch her grow up to be a beautiful young lady. I have been following her for a couple of months now. She is such a cutie.
ReplyDeleteA friend shared Brenna's story when she was first born and I've been following it ever since! As a new mother, I enjoy your story even more! :) Keep blessing the world, Brenna!

ReplyDeleteI love your daughter so very much. I feel incredibly blessed to get to read about her as she has fought some pretty tough battle this year. As a mom of an infant born with some pretty tough stuff of her own (she's fine now) I can certainly relate to what you have been going through. Nothing happens by chance. Brenna Girl has been given to you for a reason. I'm so thankful she has such a strong mom that can teach her to be a strong young woman as well. Her dad and brother are amazing as well. I hope the roughest is behind you now and that each year is easier for you and our little butterfly. Love to all this beautiful day. Love, Dawn Robinson, Arthur

DeleteI have smiled and cryed reading your blog from the beginning. You are an amazing mom and Brenna and Connor are lucky to have you for a mom.

I've followed your blog from day one. I've enjoyed watching Brenna (and Conner) grow and flourish! Brenna has taught me not to take my kids' health for granted. Courtney, you've taught me so much as a mom: patience, kindness for others, and the importance of not judging based on appearance alone. Thank you and Happy Birthday, Brenna!!! I shared on Facebook, too!!! Email: linseyhutson@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteAside from the fact that Brenna's smiles are the best give away you could possibly have, this is amazing! Brenna has touched me in ways I cannot describe. She is truly an inspiration to all of us who follow the blog as well as the entire family and your coping methods. She brought back my faith in many things.
ReplyDeleteI have read your blog from the beginning, and have been touched in ways I never thought possible. At first I wondered how you had the strength and the time to share your story, though I was so glad you did. Through your blog, I have realized that anything is possible. Brenna is an absolute inspiration to everyone, and I now stop and think before complaining about my life or the difficulties I face. Admittedly, there are times that my son (will soon be 2) has been sick or not feeling well, and I worry about his condition and agonize over every symptom. As if on cue, Brenna's name pops into my head and I think of all the times you have worried about her infections and illnesses, and I am reminded that I am not alone, and there are others much more critical than us. Not only has Brenna been an inspiration for me, but your entire family beams with strength and determination. Though the rigorous schedule cannot always be pleasing, you all take it in stride with smiles upon your face and love in your heart. And any person can take a quick look at your children and see how wonderfully you are doing raising them both. They are beautiful and happy. As I said in the beginning, I am not sure how you had the strength to start the blog, but am so thankful that you did. It is extremely encouraging to me and a special time I look forward to each day. I can only imagine how wonderful it will be for you to look back on it one day and smile at the memories that you have captured. Thanks for sharing your life, your love, and most importantly, your babies with us. We are better people because of you. ssbmcclure@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI have been Blessed by Brenna. Your family has shown me that all though we all hope and Pray for a healthy child sometimes God chooses to bless familys with a special child to show the world all though not every human may look the same we are all beautiful in the eyes of God and can bring glory to him. Brenna has shown me that the power of love and prayer is amazing and can overcome all.

DeleteI have followed your blog from day one. It's the first thing I do in the morning - log in and check up on Brenna. She is an amazing little girl. I have two sons, one 18 and one 13. However, motherhood did not come easy for me. It took us 4 1/2 years and lots and lots of help to finally conceive our first son and 3 years and lots of lots of help to conceive our second son. So, I fully understand how special being a mommy is! There's nothing greater! Your family is such an inspiration to me and to a lot of people and I'm so glad I'm a part of it (if only by reading your blog!)
ReplyDeleteI have been "Blessed by Brenna" in so many ways... She has helped me to develop an even greater understanding of the importance of community and family support, patience and love. Reading your story brings me such joy in seeing your daughter flourish. She is such a fighter and a beautiful little girl. I wish a very happy birthday to your little butterfly. sbehr2482@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteI've followed Brenna's story from the beginning and have been so incredibly touched by the strength and faith that you and your family maintains. I have a five month old little girl and feel so blessed. Having gone through the loss of our son, when I was almost 6 months along, I know how trying and helpless a mother can feel. Talk about a blessing! She is such a little doll!!! How could anyone not love this little girl and be inspired by both her journey and yours?! I love the pictures and the good days and the bad days. As a stay at home mom it's nice to see someone struggle and learn as I do every day. Plus I have learned so much about brenna's condition that I didn't know.

Hello! I started following your blog last January after seeing a link on a friends facebook page. I feel so blessed that you share your wonderful family with everyone through your blog. I check in every day to see if there's an update on how Brenna and the family are doing. She is a very special little girl and God definitely knew what he was doing when he gave her such wonderful parents! Thank you for sharing your story. God Bless!
ReplyDeleteWhen I am having a "bad day" I come to your blog and look at Brenna's beautiful face. Through your posts, I see how hard she has fought in her short time since her birth. For that, she is truly an inspiration, a hero, MY hero. I have been following your blog for almost a year now, and I thank you so very much for sharing your journey with me. Your daughter has taught me strength, courage, and determination to never stop fighting.

I have been reading your blog from the beginning. I am a friend of one of you sorority sisters. As a soon to be new mom, reading about Brenna has calmed my nerves. Knowing that whatever God gives me there is a reason. Seeing your commitment to making others aware of harlequin ichthyosis is inspiring. Connor and Brenna are blessed to have you as a Mom! May you and your family have a wonderful holiday!!!

Aimee hale came to me at church and was telling us this whole story. The church became so involved in prayer. She sat me down at her house and showed me the blog. I was stunned. The pure loveand faith was amazing. Myself, husband and 5 kids have been following and so touched. When that song comes on the radio that you had for the video....it brennas song. Don't even know what its called!!!! Thanks for sharing your story, faith and talents with us. Youare so real and let is on what life is truly like.
ReplyDeleteHey guys, firstly a huge Happy Birthday to the FAB Miss Brenna!! As you hopefully realise you have made so many lives better for sharing Brenna's wonderful journey! We too are on the same journey with our little miracle. You have been SUCH amazing support to us, we thank you. Been reading and praying for Brenna from the very beginning. I've been touched by you, Courtney. You're an amazingly strong woman. I hope that if I'm ever in a situation like yours that I would carry myself with the grace and poise you have. What an amazing gift of writing you have. Thank you so much for sharing with everyone. Reading your excerpts from the book had me crying and wanting to read more, even though I basically know the whole story and had to keep reminding myself that I know she is now a happy and practically healthy ONE year old!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family!! Thanks for sharing so many great gifts with your readers!
ReplyDeleteI received an email one day at work, asking me to pray for your family & I've been following your blog ever since. Brenna's story has touched my life and has inspired me to look past the physical and get to know people for who they truly are, because people are so much more then outward appearances. Some of your posts have made me cry, some have made me smile, but they all have touched me heart in some way or another. I can only thank you for sharing your story because some would not be so brave to create a blog, share their lives, or share their child's pics out of fear of criticism. Brenna is a beautiful blessing and I look forward to reading more, and to the days where she can help you blog her story.

A friend of mine shared Brennas story on Facebook, and knew I just had to follow this girl. My sister Daisy was born in 2007 with a skin disorder; Epidermolysis Bullosa. While reading Brennas's story, I knew all to well how hard the struggles could be, but also how rewarding the smallest things could be, like her first smile. And as a new mom I know how anxiously those small things are awaited. In one of your first posts, you posted a video about a teenage girl with Harlequinn Ichthyosis. I have had the honor of meeting her, as she was one of my campers, and then one of my co-counselors at Camp Horizon; a camp specially for kids with skin conditions.
ReplyDeleteAll of these kids; Brenna, my sister, Hunter, are truly remarkable and they amaze me every
day with their unbreakable spirits. Keep Brenna's story coming. She's an amazing little girl.

We've been following since the day she was born, before the blog existed! We were in labor while the Westlake's were in labor as well and our daughter was born the same day as Brenna (4 weeks early).
ReplyDeleteYou have provided inspiration on so many levels- the inspiration to be the best mommy I can be, to take one day at a time, to enjoy every blessing in the face of every situation, and to also speak with care and tact about those who may not understand things you are going through.
On a side note- That girl sure can rock a hat!!! LOL- love that! : ) Also, we have been reading Tillman's book, "On the Night You Were Born" as well since last December. It is hard to get through without crying! I hope to read it to our birthday girl every year on her birthday until she is old enough to make me stop!! : )

I am a mother of two as well, my daughter is 2 and 1/2 and my son is 6 months old. I started reading your blog soon after brenna was born and have been praying for you all since cynthia first put a call out for prayers. When I get stressed as a mom or frustrated, I pray, and since reading your blog I pray and think of you and your ability to make it all work and smile. I know if you can make it through everyday with faith and love, I definitely can. God bless you all and thank you for helping me keep life in perspective. And I must say Brenna is so cute. :)

I have read your blog since the begining and love seeing how Brenna has progressed. Brenna and your blog inspire me to try harder to look at someone's beauty instead of their differences. I've been reading your blog since my dad told me about his role in Brenna's baptism. I have a son about six months younger than Brenna and am learning all about my new role as a stay-at-home-mom. Each day you remind me to treasure every moment, to be thankful for this life, and to be open and accepting of people who have lives different than my own. Your optimism and obvious zest for life are contagious!

I've been following Brenna's story since the beginning. I don't remember how I even came across your blog, but I've truly been blessed by her strength and fighting spirit. I love her bright, shining eyes, and chubby little cheeks. Her beauty shines through past her physical appearance and after a while you barely notice her skin. I can't wait to hear about Brenna's second year of life.
ReplyDeleteYou and your family are truly amazing!!
I don't need the give away stuff, I just wanted to comment!
DeleteMerry Christmas!!
I heard about Brenna through a friend on Facebook and have been reading for 9 or 10 months or so. I've had my perspective shifted from reading Brenna's story.
ReplyDeleteI am Blessed by Brenna everytime I see a post about her on Facebook, everytime I see a new blog update. Her journey is incredible. It hit close to home when you struggled with the decision for the feeding tube, as my daughter has a feeding tube for other reasons, and it was life saving as well. I made Brenna the button buddy, and my little girl still talks about how we gave it to her, and how she hopes it makes her happy on days she is sad, and how she can take it to school when she is bigger to teach her friends (like my Carolyn does now that she is in preschool). I will of course share the giveaway, the blog, the blessings of Brenna as I always do. I hope to win any of the items as my friend recently had an unexpected arrival who had open heart surgery at 6 days and is a little fighter now. :) This would be a blessing for him and his mommy.
ReplyDeleteI love following Brenna's story and learning more about your family!
ReplyDeleteShared the link to your blog on my Facebook:)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you found a way to share Brenna's story and love reading new updates. I am also glad you have shared ways for people to ask about someone that may look or act a little different rather than staring or not making eye contact. I think next time I come across someone I am wondering about it will make me more confident to just go say hi and ask questions. Thank you!

ReplyDeleteI've been following your blog in January, when I was 7 months pregnant. Brenna's spirit, and your strength as parents, gives much-needed perspective on daily little issues. Thank you for sharing your lovely family with all of us. Happy Birthday, Brenna!

I have been reading your blog since January or February. My son is also a patient of Dr Conlon, and he also has a complicated diagnosis. I would dearly love to win the Aquaphor set :) Merry Christmas Westlakes!

I was blessed by brenna when I was able to meet her and your family and care for her in the NICU! We love brenna at our house! Also shared your Blog on Facebook. Christinasheets08@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI stumbled across Brenna's blog by accident... can't even remember how now. I was enthralled, of course, with the pictures of her birth. It all seemed so sad to me. Now, one of my daughters (8) and I argue over who gets to read about Brenna first when a new post comes up in my blogger! Lol She is such a sweetie and a fat-cheeked cutie, but more than that you inspire me to be a better mother to my kids.
ReplyDeleteFirst time reading your blog. I can't wait to read more of your story - you have such a beautiful family and I can tell you all love each other very much.

I can't remember how I came across your blog, but it was about 3 months ago and I read all of your earlier posts within 2 days. I have found myself checking in every day to see if there has been an update on beautiful Brenna and the rest of your family. I loved Conner's birthday post, he looked so excited in all of the pictures. I also love that he looks just as excited at Brenna's birthday party.
ReplyDeleteI am days away from becoming an aunt to a little girl and have never been more excited for anything. Thank you for sharing everything that you have and Happy Birthday to Brenna.

I've followed Brenna's story for around 9 months now. I kept seeing it on Facebook and since I was 3 months pregnant at the time, I wanted to read anything that had to do with babies. I love seeing how she is doing and to bare witness to such a strong and humble family has been amazing. Brenna crosses my mind every time I use Aquaphor :)
ReplyDeleteI shared the blog on my own page and I hope you don't mind that I shared it on some mommy pages that I'm a part of. My email address is evamarie19(at)hotmail(dot)com.
Thank you so much for all you do and for keeping up with this blog :)
We had fun at Brenna's party - so excited to get to meet her in person! I loved the theme. And I posted a link about it on my blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI just started following Brenna's story last week. I kept seeing photos of her via my facebook feed and had to learn about her. I also am a new Auntie to twin nieces who were born at 26 weeks in November. They are still in the St. Johns NICU and will be 33 weeks on Thursday! Reading your story has given me hope that these little girls will be fighters just like Brenna! She such an inspiration to all!
ReplyDeleteI have been following since just a few days after Brenna was born. Brenna's strength and beautiful smile are such an inspiration as is your whole family! I can't believe she is 1 already! :) Even if I think I am having a rough day or my own 2 year old is bouncing off the walls her little face brightens up my day! To see her growing, thriving, and smiling through her obstacles reminds us all to stop and be thankful for all the miracles in our lives! Thank you for keeping up this blog and letting us see the honest ups and downs. Her story really is a blessing to so many! Happy Birthday Brenna!!

I found your blog almost a year ago, and I have been following Brenna's story and praying for you all. I am blessed by your attitude of acceptance to God's plan, even with her Harlequin diagnosis, and I hope that if I am faced with an issue with one of my children I can face it with the same attitude that you have! Thank you for sharing.

I've been following your blog from the beginning and your story has touched my heart so much. My son was born with a rare skin condition (nothing close to what Brenna has endured) so your perspective on life and how you have handled the situation has shined a bright light on how I have dealt with our situation. I love reading about how far you have come and look forward to the future posts and milestones.

Hi Courtney!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Suzy and I work with your mom at DSCC. I started following Brenna's story shortly after you began posting. I absolutely love reading your posts as you always remind me how far positivity can take you. I shared Brenna's story on Facebook with the hopes that everyone will take a peak and be as inspired by your family as I am! Thanks for always being so open :)!
Susange23@yahoo.com
You went to college with someone I went to high school with and through Facebook I saw your "going home" picture when Brenna was released from the hospital. At the time my nephew was hitting some bumps in the road following his cancer treatments and I was 6 months pregnant...I had babies on the brain all the time and immediately got sucked into your story of struggle and hope.
ReplyDeleteamynd06 (at) gmail (dot) com
Happy birthday Brenna! We love reading your blog..including my son Caleb who frequently asks me what "baby Brenna and Connor are doing?" ;) I look forward to your book. Brenna is an inspiration. You and your family are in our prayers!

Happy birthday Brenna! What a first year it's been! One way I've been blessed by Brenna - I think every mom wonders if they will have a child with special needs and if so, how it will affect their family. The addition of Brenna to your family has shown me that special needs or not, it doesn't matter. She is a blessing and gives you so much joy and love. Yes it's a lot of work, but you manage and keep going. It gives me peace to know that if I were to have a child that had special needs, I too would be able to handle what that brings.

ReplyDeleteWatching Brenna's journey almost every day in her first year has been such a blessing for me as well as my family and friends who I have introduced to your blog. Courtney, you have blessed all of your readers in so many ways through your words and your ability to articulate this journey in such an absolutely inspiring way. I can't express that enough. I love reading your blog and watching Miss Brenna grow......she is an amazing little girl who was born into an amazing family!
ReplyDeleteI have been following Brenna's story for a couple months now. I am a music therapist that works at the Children's Hospital in Springfield part time. When I looked at my roster, I saw a diagnosis that was completely new to me and did some investigation. (I wanted to meet your family, but you were gone before I had the chance to say hello) When I asked my fiance if he know anything about Harlequin Icthyosis, he immediately informed me about your family and told me that he always asks Brenna's Grandma and Grandpa about her. We say a prayer for Brenna and your family every day and have shared your amazing story with friends and family members. You have shown us what being a family is all about and how being strong and keeping faith makes all the difference. You help us remember that we always have something to be thankful for. Seeing pictures of Brenna's progress as well as pictures of her loving big brother always brightens my day and puts a smile on my face! Thank you for sharing your inspirational story!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY BRENNA!!

ReplyDeleteI have been blessed by Brenna and her story as you have told it over the past year. I never knew about Harlequin Ichthiosis and have found that I can pronouce it and explain it to my three congregations when they ask who is Brenna on the prayer list. I officiated a wedding on New Year's Eve of some relatives of yours, and right before the wedding I was told about Brenna. I lnever miss reading one of your blog entries. I pray for Brenna and your family and ask my congregations to, as well. Thank you for sharing the ups and downs of Brenna's life and the rest of your family as well. DeleteI started reading your blog about 9 months ago, I have a 15 month old also named Brenna! I saw your blog on a friends facebook page and thought I would check it out! I check back daily to hear what you are all up to and how Brenna's health is faring! My little Brenna was also born premature with some health complications and just like your Brenna she is thriving now! I have a lot of your "Brenna's favorite things" items already and I agree, as a mom, they are perfect items to make our life easier and our babies just a little happier and cuter! Keep on blogging, I love to read your posts! Happy Holidays to yourself, Brenna, Connor and your husband! I wish you many more happy, healthy days to come in the new year! :)

I have followed your blog practically since it was started. My son turned one in November, and really your blog has taught me to make time for the fun messy things. For instance over Thanksgiving, while making noodles my little one wanted to play in the flour. Before I would have thought way too messy, but I took off his clothes and let him get all kinds of messy in it.. It is now a great memory. I think of you often at those times, because I cherish every moment with my son as you do your children. I take the time to get messy with my son instead of making sure everything is perfect. I am now expecting my second child in July and know that I can handle anything before me. I look at Brenna's perfect smile and she melts my heart, to know this little fighter has come so far, fills so many people hearts with joy.. thank you so much for blogging..

It has been such a blessing to me to see how God been so faithful in your family. It might not always be the easiest situation for you, but you rely on God and He has come through over and over again. I first started following you blog shortly after Brenna was born when a friend shared it on FB. It has been a blessing and an encouragement! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI started following your blog when a cousin posted on a picture of Brenna on Facebook. Now I look forward to seeing her sweet smiling face and hearing how she is overcoming all the obstacles that come her way. I often marvel at how graciously you have handled Brenna's condition, and try to remember how lucky we all are (espcially after the events of last Friday) to have children alive and thriving. I can't wait to see what the future brings. Happy First Birthday!

Brenna has blessed our family in many ways as my husband, 4 year old son and myself have enjoyed following the blog. The most important lesson for my son: All children have differences and may look different but that's just a small part of what makes them special and unique. He noticed that Brenna had grown in her 1st birthday photos and we loved the hungry caterpillar theme. May God continue to bless you and your family.
